Cadiz Restaurant Hosts Special SBIFF Edition of Santa Barbara Champagne Club

For Immediate Release - January 31, 2015, Santa Barbara, CA: The 2015 Santa Barbara Film Festival (SBIFF) is in full swing. With hosts of celebrities, film makers, and film lovers in town, the Santa Barbara Champagne Club is joining the fun with a special SBIFF edition of its First Friday tasting, sponsored by Forrest Lang and SB Therapy. This celebration of champagne, film and fine food will be held on Friday, February 6 from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. at Cadiz Restaurant & Lounge, an Italian and seafood restaurant, located at 509 State Street in historic downtown Santa Barbara.
The Santa Barbara Champagne Club is a lifestyle group started and based out of Santa Barbara. With its ability to host a variety of corporate events, Cadiz has become a popular destination for the club’s monthly meetings. Music at the SBIFF Edition of the club will be provided by DJ Pat Swayzak and Calvin Riley. The three marques for the evening's tasting include Chandon Brut, Étoile Brut, and Dom Pérignon. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival, presented by UGG® Australia, runs for eleven days, from January 27 through February 7. The 30th edition offers a vast array of films representing 54 countries, 23 world premieres and 52 US premieres, tributes with the year’s top talent, panel discussions, and free community education and outreach. Each year, SBIFF presents a diverse slate of more than 200 films to over 85,000 film enthusiasts including local and regional cinephiles, film students and independents, as well as filmmakers, industry professionals, leading reporters and critics from Variety, Hollywood Reporter and IndieWire.
